Red Oak Animal Hospital Policy on Late Cancellations of Appointments and No-Shows
We would like to inform you of a policy on late cancellation of appointments and no-shows effective June 20th, 2022.
This policy has been established in order to provide the highest level of veterinary care to all of our patients.
By providing us notice of a cancellation, we may be able to accommodate other patients with your appointment slot. When clients do not show up for a scheduled appointment, it creates an unused appointment slot that could have been utilized for another patient.
It is very important that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel your appointment.
Clients who fail to show, cancel, or reschedule an appointment without a 24 hour notice, will be charged a $50.00 fee per animal. Multiple “no shows”, late cancellations, or reschedules without proper 24 hour notice may be removed from care at Red Oak Animal Hospital.
This fee will be charged to the client.
As a courtesy, we make reminder calls, emails, and text messages for appointments. If you have not received those messages please contact our office so that we may ensure your contact information is up to date.
We understand that there may be circumstances when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. You may contact our office Monday 8:30am to 5pm, and Tuesday through Friday 8am to 5pm, at the number provided below. Should it be after regular business hours, you can leave a message or email us.
